Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your kidtold account and every bit of data associated with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete from the app (fastest)

  1. Open kidtold and go to Grown-ups (pass the quick grown-up check).
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete account & all data”.
  3. Confirm. Your account and all data are erased right away.

Can't get into the app?

Email privacy@kidtold.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you, usually within a few days and no later than 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your parent account and login.
  • Every child profile, and each hero’s entire canon — traits, hopes, fears, friends, skills, and story history.
  • All stories and reading activity, including the long-term “memory” held with our AI/search provider.
  • Your safety log and consent records.

We do not keep a usable copy afterward; any residual data in encrypted backups is purged on our normal backup cycle (within 30 days). We retain only the minimal records the law requires (for example, basic transaction records).

Your subscription

Deleting your account stops all data processing. To make sure your card is no longer charged, also cancel your subscription from the billing portal at kidtold.com/account.
